Job Summary:

We are seeking an individual who can meet the demands of a fast-paced Billing Representative. Our Billing Representative wants to deliver World-Class Service while showing compassion to our veterans. This individual must value honor and respect for our veterans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compile and alphabetize confirmed printed pickup tickets and sales orders for billing submission.
  • Document and audit patient file notes with appropriate changes, i.e., prescription reading and file interpretation.
  • Research open sales orders for accuracy and billing confirmation.
  • Manage patient files to correct home inventory.
  • Coordinates with all departments and remote locations.
  • Process weekly open order reports.

Education and Skills:

  • Brightree, Apachetta, or other windows based medical software.
  • Advanced data entry skills
    • 10-key
    • 35 wpm
  • MS Excel – intermediate level.
  • Advance phone, communication, and time management skills
    • Multitasking is essential, you must be able to communicate effectively while document processes.
  • Resolve issues with VA or a similar entity.
  • Works independently and uses the best judgment to finalize orders.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or higher education.
  • Must be able to understand and speak English fluently. Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in a medical office, DME, or hospital, 18(+) months or more.
  • Ability to process written and oral communication from various sources.

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Weekends may be needed in an emergency.
