
As the year winds down, the VA is taking a moment to reflect on the work that VA’s public servants have done in 2022 to fulfill its mission to serve Veterans and their families, caregivers and survivors as well as they have served our country.
In a new report, “Serving America’s Veterans,” the VA lays out an overview of its major accomplishments for Veterans in 2022, including:
- Providing more care and more benefits to more Veterans than ever before
- Expanding access to care and benefits for millions of toxic-exposed Veterans and survivors
- Driving down Veteran homelessness
- Fighting to end Veteran suicide
- Expanding caregiver support to Veterans of all eras
- Provide lasting resting places at VA cemeteries
- Increasing Veteran trust in VA
