U.S. Army – From prenatal and labor support to postpartum and gynecologic services, ten Army nurses earned their obstetrics and gynecology Area of Concentration, preparing them to deliver safe, high-quality care for Soldiers, retirees, and families.
The Nursing Specialty Course equips registered nurses with advanced knowledge and clinical skills to care for women throughout their lives. During the 16-week program, nurses completed classroom instruction, hands-on simulation training, and clinical rotations in the hospital’s Labor and Delivery unit.
