DVIDS – The Army has announced a new hazardous materials management system to bring material tracking, procurement, storage and disposal management to the unit level. The HMID system will provide inventory management of hazardous materials.
The new system that would replace the Environmental Safety and Occupational Health – Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) and streamline the process for users. Easily accessing safety data sheets and breaking down bulk items in inventory logs are two things the new system brings to the table.
