U.S. Army – Staff Sgt. John A. Pagliuso of the Army Air Corps, who was killed during World War II, was recently laid to rest with full military honors by seven Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard.

His remains were listed as missing until they were identified this March. What began as a family ceremony grew into a broader tribute to Pagliuso’s service for Lyons and the Central New York veterans community.
