VA News – Skilled trades, manufacturing, defense, and maritime employers are hiring, and Veterans frequently have the technical skills and discipline these industries value. The VA and Department of Labor (DOL) are partnering to help Veterans find and pursue these career opportunities more easily.
VA has launched a three-phase series of working sessions that transform employer feedback into Veteran referrals:
- Align stakeholders and establish shared goals
- Expand apprenticeship and hiring pathways
- Strengthen Veteran readiness through education and training
