Protect yourself this Fall with vaccinations

Mid-Cities Medical

VA News – As the leaves change color and the air turns crisp, it’s time to think about protecting ourselves from getting sick, and vaccines are available free of charge to Veterans receiving care at VA.

For Veterans that have underlying health conditions like the flu, RSV, COVID-19 or bacterial pneumonia, staying healthy is especially important. These illnesses can lead to serious complications, especially in older adults and those with compromised immune systems.

Your VA health care provider can help answer your questions about vaccines. You can also call your local VA to learn when and where you can get vaccines or send a secure message to your provider through My HealtheVet.
